Located centrally in Alice Springs, Gap Community Early Learning Centre is a community based educational space, offering both full time and part time education. Catering for children aged from 6 months to 5 years, we are committed to providing a safe, friendly and fun environment that encourages learning and communication.
Bush Tomatoes Room (Katjirra)
6 Months - 2 Years
The Bush Tomatoes room is designed for children aged between 6 months to 2 years, catering for a maximum of 12 children per day. With one full time team leader and two assistant educators, we’re very flexible with each child’s individual routines, helping each child successfully transition from home to our learning space. Indoor and outdoor programs are available for a fun and educational experience!
Witchetty Grubs Room (Tjaapa)
2 - 3 years
Catering for a maximum of 20 children per day, between the ages of 2 to 3 years old. With one team leader and three assistant educators, our Witchetty Grubs room focuses on developing a warm, engaged and responsive relationship between your child and our educators.
Honey Ants Room (Yirrampa)
3 - 4 years
Designed for children aged between 3 to 4 years old, our Honey Ants room can cater for a maximum of 22 children per day. Our team leader and assistant educators will follow the child’s interests and develop a play-based program. We help to develop your child’s communication skills, as well as problem solving and self-regulation skills.
Thorny Devils Room (Irntaakupma)
4 - 5 years
In the Thorny Devils room, we try to encourage independent learning and we follow a flexible routine that’s led by the child’s own cues and behaviours. Designed for children aged between 4 to 5 years old, we can cater for a maximum of 22 children per day.
