Meet our Director Sheena Russell
Sheena, has been in the Early Childhood Sector for 20 years and has a Diploma in Early Childhood as well as a Cert IV in Leadership & Management.
Sheena, has a strong passion for continuous improvement and working with the educators to achieve a common goal. Sheena is devoted to children’s development and is a powerful advocate for child led curriculums and children’s agency.
Sheena believes in a quote once said by John F Kennedy “children are the world’s most valuable resource, and our best hope for the future”.
Our Principles and Values
The Gap Community Early Learning Centre is a dynamic service that endeavours to engage in meaningful partnerships with all children, families, educators and community members. The learning environments within the service are created to assist children in their growing sense of Belonging, Being and Becoming. Our philosophy was reviewed in 2023 in consultation with families, staff and children of the service. Below are the three pillars which represent our current beliefs, values and principles.
